A Harlot's Progress is a forthcoming opera by young, British composer Iain Bell based on William Hogarth's series of etchings of the same name. The libretto is by British author Peter Ackroyd. The opera is scheduled to open at the Theater an der Wien, Vienna in 2013 and internationally renowned German coloratura soprano Diana Damrau will play the lead role of Moll Hackabout. Additional cast members announced include young Irish mezzo soprano Tara Erraught and English tenor Christopher Gillett.
